Iron and Glass

The resilience of iron and glass intrigues me. Larger stained glass windows require the use of iron rebar (reinforcement bar) to provide structural integrity. In smaller scale, iron is not necessarily required for reinforcement, but it can serve the function of contrast when used as a frame for glass artwork.
